About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Dry Fire Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career progression within a growing national organisation.
The role is based in Greater Adelaide and involves supporting a multi-site contract. Our client is looking for someone who is committed to workplace safety and good work practices.
Key Duties
1. Inspect, test, maintain, service and install all Dry Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS1851-2012 and/or OEM standards.
2. Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
3. Installation of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
4. Assist in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work.
5. Liaise directly with clients regarding service work.
6. Conduct facility maintenance.
About You
1. You will have at least 5 years' experience within the Fire Industry, with 3+ years' experience in testing and service.
2. You hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
3. FPAS Accreditation is desirable, as is basic knowledge of AS1668, AS1670, AS2220, ASS009 and AS3000 standards.
4. You should be able to program and capable of testing panels.
5. A current Driver's License is required, and you will be rewarded with a Ute or Vehicle Allowance + Fuel Card.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships are essential.
