**About the Role**:
**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to**:
- Assist with Lease negotiations
- Assist Property Manager with reviewing of lease documents, providing recommendations and commentary on negotiations
- Obtain direction from brand(s) and relevant departments on renewal terms, CAPEX and fit out or refurbishment requirements
- Work with Finance Department on financial modelling of stores.
- Preparation of lease renewal or pre-project papers. Compile information of site selection to brand with details on opportunity
- Fortnightly reports on lease renewal status
- Updating of Property Tracker WIP with commentary and financial information
- Manage Storage Licences including short term Christmas storage requirements
- Preparation and completion of white paper (business case)
- Liaising with Landlords for payment of security deposits
- Compiling information to seek payment of Landlord incentives
- Work directly with nominated external Solicitor to review leases and licenses
- New Vendor set up
- Compile Lease certification letters, leases and associated documents for internal execution process
- Negotiate with Landlord Embedded Network Electricity fees and accounts
- Liaising with API Insurance Team and Insurance Brokers to obtain updated insurance
**About you**:
- Undergraduate qualification in a property business related discipline
- Previous experience and exposure within retail property required
- Proven ability in driving cultural change with a demonstrated collaborative style
- Ability to share information with others in a highly effective and influential manner
- Financial and accounting skills
- Commitment to completing tasks accurately and with high attention to detail
- Significant level customer engagement focus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and within a team
- Data interpretation and ability to interpret and communicate
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Contract law
- Knowledge of Lease Eagle and Basware an advantage
