National Technical Lead
Job Overview:
The National Technical Lead will provide strategic technical and operational guidance to the Underwritten business, encompassing the identification of improvements to claims and/or customer experience.
About the Role:
* Oversight and enhancement of policy and procedure documents to improve claims management, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
* Management of claims performance assessments, external audit requirements, and driving remedial actions from audits to enhance claims management practices.
* Collaboration with branches and the National Claims Team to influence and implement long-term improvements in claims management and strategies.
* Key contact for IT/system changes and proactive monitoring of environmental developments and legislative changes impacting claims strategies.
* Provision of actionable insights and recommendations to the National Claims Manager on claims trends, performance, and strategic improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in managing projects and operations, focusing on improving systems and methodologies.
* Strong skills in managing stakeholders and building cross-functional relationships to effectively influence and implement strategies.
* Deep expertise in claims management models, cost drivers, and Workers Compensation legislation.
* Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide insightful solutions for informed decision-making.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with effective planning and prioritization skills to manage tasks and resources efficiently.
