THE ROLE
EPEC Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of multiple SCADA & Control Systems projects and support contracts, with a portfolio value of approximately $10M. This pivotal role ensures structured scheduling, commercial oversight, governance, and stakeholder alignment across complex technical projects.
As Program Manager, you will drive efficiency, reduce schedule slippage, strengthen risk and commercial management, and enable EPEC to deliver multiple SCADA & Control Systems projects simultaneously with improved predictability and margin protection.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a master schedule for all SCADA & Control Systems projects.
* Coordinate key phases: design, procurement, build, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover.
* Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and resource bottlenecks.
* Support project leads with planning, risk management, and status reporting.
* Standardise delivery processes and templates across projects.
* Manage cross-project dependencies and lessons learned.
* Review scopes, variations, and schedules; assist with budgeting and forecasting.
* Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor deliverables.
* Produce program dashboards and maintain accurate documentation.
* Escalate risks, delays, or commercial issues promptly.
* Provide clear progress updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, OEMs, and support senior leadership with program updates.
ABOUT YOU
* Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or business.
* Exposure to SCADA & Control Systems, Operational Technology, or industrial automation (highly advantageous).
* Proven experience managing or coordinating multiple engineering or technical projects.
* Skilled in scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
* Strong knowledge of project governance, commercial processes, and delivery frameworks.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Understanding of engineering lifecycles from design through FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover.
* Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or AIPM (advantageous but not essential).
