As a Development Test Engineer at EOS in Canberra, you will play a vital role within our Engineering department. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and execute test plans for new product development.
* Conduct testing on hardware and software components to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
* Analyse test results and provide feedback to the design and development teams for continuous improvement.
* Troubleshoot issues and work towards effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Document test procedures, results, and observations for future reference.
Requirements:
* A degree in Engineering or related field.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools is desirable but not essential for this graduate role.
Desired skills and experience:
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit)
* Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test plans
