Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing Systems Support Officer
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing Systems Support Officer to join our Corporate Services division. This role provides high-level administrative and project support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W) team.
* Maintaining and enhancing OHSMS documentation and safety records is crucial for this position.
* The successful candidate will administer the incident reporting system and support staff access.
* They will coordinate WHS Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
* Collating and presenting data in visual reports using tools like Power BI is essential for making informed decisions.
* Supporting WorkCover and Return to Work processes, including financial transactions and insurance renewals, is a key responsibility of this role.
* Assisting in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and events, including logistics and reporting, is also an important aspect of the job.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
* Strong administrative and coordination skills with a high attention to detail are required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally across all levels, are essential.
* Experience in customer-centric support and service delivery is highly valued.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn systems such as Power BI, Copilot, and HSI DoneSafe is necessary.
* Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and contribute to a team environment is also required.
* Cert IV in OHS or working towards (advantageous) is a plus.
