Job Description
We're looking for a driven and detail‐oriented Account Executive to join the Saatchi & Saatchi team in Melbourne, working on some of Australia's most iconic automotive brands.
Supporting a Senior Account Director, you'll play a key role in the day‐to‐day management and delivery of advertising work across a large, fast-moving commercial portfolio. This role is perfect for someone early in their advertising or communications career who wants hands‐on experience, exposure to big‐budget campaigns, and the chance to learn the foundations of great agency craft.
You'll be the master of the basics — owning timelines, WIPs and admin — while building strong foundations in client service, project management and creative delivery in a collaborative, high‐performing team.
As an Account Executive, you'll support your team across process, project management and coordination to ensure work is delivered to a high standard. This includes:
* Support the day‐to‐day management and delivery of advertising projects, ensuring work is on time and on budget
* Manage timelines, WIPs, contact reports and job administration with strong attention to detail
* Assist with client liaison on smaller projects, acting as a reliable and professional point of contact
* Brief creative and artwork into studio and coordinate with production and external suppliers
* Support pre‐production and post‐production across campaigns and assets
* Prepare presentations, documentation and status updates using PowerPoint or Keynote
* Conduct competitive analysis, research and share relevant insights with the team
* Maintain accurate account records, job folders and financial documentation
* Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, production and finance teams to keep projects moving
The person we're looking for has
* Some exposure to advertising, marketing, communications or PR through study, internships, part‐time work or entry‐level roles
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to build confidence presenting and working with others
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks, timelines and follow‐ups
* High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, well‐presented work
* A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and openness to feedback
* Genuine curiosity about advertising, creativity, brands and how campaigns come to life
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, collaborative team environment
* Proficient in the Microsoft suite and basic / exploratory skills in AI tools.
* Qualifications in advertising / communications / marketing would be preferred
