Employment Term: Fixed Term Part-Time Opportunity Available for Maternity Leave Cover.

Location: St Stephen's Hospital.

Remuneration: $45.49 - $64.48 per hour + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist you will work with patients to maximise their function and independence in daily activities. You will be part of the Occupational Therapy Service, working closely with specialist doctors in neurology, surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, palliative care and medical units. In an acute setting you will focus on delivering high-quality clinical care, recognising the importance of multidisciplinary approaches to rehabilitation and adopting an open, collaborative approach to patient‐centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration.
• Strong, evidence-based clinical practice and problem‐solving skills.
• Commitment to teamwork and high-level communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations, undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment.
