Wellington Rd Dental Care (WRDC) has an opening for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team 3 to 4 days a week commencing October 2025. About the role: We are looking for an energetic and mature minded receptionist to carry out front office duties and engage with our patients in a warm and professional manner. As the face and voice of our clinic, you will have an important role in keeping our front of clinic running smoothly from greeting patients to maintaining appointment schedules with calmness and confidence. This position may be the right fit for you if you are passionate about dentistry and looking for an easy going but professional work environment.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
* Answering phone calls and responding to website and email enquiries.
* Maintaining patient records and filing.
* Assist with laboratory work co-ordination.
* Follow up with patients before, during and after treatment.
* Maintain a clean and organized reception area and patient common areas.
* Assist with sterilisation as needed basis.
* Support the rest of the team when required.
The ideal applicant
* Minimum 2 years experience as a dental receptionist.
* D4W software experience is preferred, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
* Friendly, naturally compassionate and energetic personality.
* Strong work ethic with a positive "can do" attitude.
* You love working in a team environment and can work within established policies, guidelines and procedures.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Great at multitasking with excellent organizational, phone and computer skills.
* Good personal presentation.
* Experience with infection control and sterilization is preferred, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Position details
* The position is ideally suited to:
* An experienced dental receptionist who is new or returning to Perth, Western Australia.
* A dental nurse with Certificate 3 or 4 with reception experience.
* A dental receptionist wanting part-time hours with flexibility to increase hours on an as needed basis.
