Our federal government client is seeking experienced, highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientists to work in their Data and Actuarial Division.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
* Researching and implementing innovative techniques and interdisciplinary methods to solve business issues with a focus on application of AI/data science and statistical techniques.
* Designing statistical, mathematical, and various data science models to conduct analytical work that addresses business issues, departmental initiatives, and the development of new products for the department.
* Collaborating across teams, building relationships within the division and other stakeholders in the department
The successful candidate must have:
* 5+ years of actuarial / data scientist experience
* Experience with complex internal or external stakeholder engagement and management
* Proficient Python or R programming skills including data manipulation, analysis and model development/deployment
* Demonstrated experience in application of Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract information and design of decision-support systems
