We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our HQ team in Tingalpa. This is a newly created role and the first true in-house finance hire for the business. You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team, helping bring stronger reporting, visibility, and commercial decision-making across a fast-growing Ecommerce business operating across DTC, grocery, wholesale, and retail.
This role is heavily Ecommerce-focused.
We need someone who genuinely understands how Ecommerce businesses operate commercially - not just from a reporting perspective, but from a growth, marketing, and profitability perspective too.
What You'll Do
You'll help drive the finance function across all revenue streams, with a strong focus on supporting and improving Ecommerce performance and commercial decision-making.
* Partner closely with Ecommerce and marketing teams to analyse CAC, nCAC, MER, ROAS, contribution margin, and customer acquisition efficiency
* Help leadership understand how marketing spend, trading activity, and growth decisions impact profitability and cash flow
* Build reporting and analysis around campaigns, launches, promotions, and Ecommerce performance
* Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting rhythms across the business
* Support management of the P&L, cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting processes
* Build financial models and dashboards that provide clear commercial visibility across the business
* Identify opportunities to improve margin, trading performance, and operational efficiency
* Work alongside external accountants while helping bring more reporting and capability in-house
* Support decision-making across Ecommerce, grocery, wholesale, and retail channels
* Stay hands-on in the numbers while contributing commercially across the wider business
What We Want From You
We're looking for someone commercially minded, Ecommerce-savvy, and excited by the pace of a scaling consumer brand.
You are:
* Experienced working within Ecommerce, DTC, or digitally-led consumer businesses
* Comfortable working with Ecommerce and marketing metrics including CAC, MER, ROAS, LTV, and contribution margin
* Someone who understands how Ecommerce businesses actually make money and scale profitably
* A Finance Manager, Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, or Financial Controller with strong commercial exposure
* Comfortable partnering with marketing, Ecommerce, operations, and leadership teams
* Strong with reporting, forecasting, analysis, and commercial visibility
* Hands‐on and comfortable rolling your sleeves up when needed
* Able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
* Naturally proactive, commercially curious, and solutions-focused

* Exposure to paid media reporting and customer acquisition performance
