Exciting Renewable Energy Role - Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the Australian business, working on large-scale flagship Battery Energy Storage Systems for projects in NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Onsite Engineer: Lead the commissioning and acceptance testing of Balance of Plant equipment, including electrical systems, controls/communication networks, and auxiliary systems.
* Review Failures: Investigate failures and provide corrective actions during commissioning and startup.
* Commissioning Test Plans: Develop, execute, and manage resourcing, logistics, equipment, and scheduling for commissioning tests.
* Troubleshooting: Provide local/remote technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning as needed.
* Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning or performance testing for large-scale PV, energy storage systems, or utility-scale electrical power systems.
* Electrical Expertise: Knowledge and experience testing Transformers and Balance of Plant equipment.
* Australian Electrical Licence: Hold an Australian Electrical Licence (desirable).
* High-Paced Environment: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be solution-oriented.
