Project Manager
The role of a Project Delivery Manager involves overseeing the successful completion of geotechnical and ground-improvement projects in the Townsville / North Queensland region.
* To excel in this position, you will need to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple ground-improvement and geotechnical projects across various sites.
* You will be responsible for creating and implementing project delivery plans, ensuring timely execution, effective resource allocation, and adherence to budget requirements.
* Critical to your success will be the ability to communicate effectively with on-site teams, including geologists, drillers, rope-access technicians, and engineers, to ensure that roles, responsibilities, and tasks are clearly defined and executed.
* It is also essential to maintain a strong focus on health, safety, environment (HSE) and compliance requirements, particularly when working in remote or difficult-to-access locations.
* Furthermore, you will need to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and relevant authorities, managing expectations, reporting progress, and ensuring contract deliverables are met.
* Regularly monitoring project progress, quality, and costs, you will prepare and present reports to stakeholders, forecasting future outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.
