About the role
The primary function of the Head Chef is the efficient and safe operation of the galley, food services, and supervision of galley staff.
Roster: 14.5 days on, 13.5 days off
The Head Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals for passengers and crew. This involves breakfast shifts, working to schedules, managing the galley team in food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning of the crew mess, galley, storage areas, and maintenance of all galley equipment and utensils. The role also includes food ordering, menu planning, stock control, and providing direction for food costing, budgets, and driving new business opportunities to enhance profitability.

Requirements
* Certificate qualification and experience in cooking

* Minimum of 3 years hotel or restaurant experience in a similar role
