Early Learning Housekeeper - Mullaloo
Part-time | 2 afternoons per week | 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Are you passionate about cleanliness, take pride in presentation, and understand the importance of hygiene in environments where children learn and grow?
Our Mullaloo early learning centre is seeking a dedicated Early Learning Housekeeper to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Your duties will include:
* Vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining floors in rooms, hallways, and shared areas
* Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, change tables, and high-touch surfaces
* Wiping down windows, walls, doors, and furniture
* Tidying and disinfecting the staff room, kitchen, and office spaces
* Restocking bathroom and kitchen consumables
* Supporting a rotating deep-cleaning schedule to maintain hygiene standards
You'll follow a structured cleaning checklist and take initiative to ensure all areas of the centre are kept tidy, sanitary, and well-presented.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role (childcare, education, or healthcare preferred)
* A solid understanding of hygiene, infection control, and cross-contamination prevention
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* A proactive and reliable work ethic
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
* A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
