Melbourne | Hybrid | $120,000 to $140,000 super A growing Australian haircare brand is hiring a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to own ecommerce, CRM, paid media oversight and digital growth. The business has strong retail distribution across pharmacy and grocery, with most revenue coming through retail. Direct-to-consumer is still a small part of the business, but a clear growth priority. Digital activity needs to support both online sales and customers who research online before buying in-store. The business is also going through a rebrand, with new packaging and a website rebuild planned for 2026. The role This is a broad digital role with a strong ecommerce focus. You will work closely with the Head of Brand and Marketing, the founders and a small internal brand team. The role covers: Managing and improving the Shopify site Reviewing and optimising Klaviyo flows Building out CRM, email and loyalty activity Working with the paid media agency across Meta, Google and other channels Using performance data to brief better content into the brand and social team Supporting the website relaunch Helping align ecommerce, digital campaigns and retail activity Using AI and digital tools to improve speed and workflow What kind of person will suit this role? This role will suit someone who has worked in a small or mid-sized consumer business, with a broad digital remit. Relevant backgrounds could include beauty, haircare, skincare, wellness, personal care, FMCG or a related consumer category. You will need: Hands-on Shopify experience CRM and email experience, ideally Klaviyo A working understanding of paid media across Meta and Google Strong commercial judgement Good creative judgement around content and customer behaviour Confidence working in a lean team without waiting for detailed briefs Interest in beauty, haircare, personal care or FMCG This is not a pure paid media role. Paid media may stay with an agency, but you need to understand the channel well enough to manage performance, ask good questions and connect activity to commercial outcomes. Setup The role is based in Melbourne. The team works from South Yarra three days per week, with two days from home. This is a full-time, permanent role with no direct reports initially. Salary is $120,000 to $140,000 super, depending on experience.
