Our Avionics team designs and builds products to optimise pilot capabilities – from helmets that use head movements to control weaponry, to aviation‐based navigation systems. We're a trusted partner for defence and government clients, building bespoke training and simulation solutions across a range of fields, such as maritime, aviation & land operations.
Our Graduate Program focuses on developing early career talent to help us deliver tomorrow's high‐tech solutions. Over an 18‐month development program you will engage in on‐the‐job training, mentoring, a graduate project and structured learning modules.
About The Role
* Execute a variety of activities across systems and software engineering.
* Participate in the development of product specifications and design documentation.
* Understanding and analysing customer requirements.
* Actively pursue professional development to maintain and grow your capability as an Engineer.
* Producing engineering reports, specification and design documents.
* Effectively planning and executing activities ensuring projects keep to time.
About You
* Recently graduated with a Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (graduated by end of 2026).
* A 'can do' approach with a focus on achieving project milestones and deadlines.
* You easily build relationships and have strong communications skills both written and verbal.
* Self‐motivated, proactive, detail‐orientated and organised.
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain baseline clearance. Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website http://www.defence.gov.au/AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
