Crimp-Tech Australia Pty Ltd is a specialist supplier of high-reliability tooling for connectors and wiring system solutions for the aerospace and defence industries. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead business development and strengthen relationships with customers across aerospace, defence, and high-reliability manufacturing sectors throughout Australasia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with technical understanding of connectors, harnessing, and electrical interconnect systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Crimp-Tech Australia's presence in aerospace and defence markets throughout Australasia.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, defence contractors, and aerospace suppliers
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
* Provide technical consultation on tooling for connector and wiring harness solutions
* Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
* Represent the company at industry meetings, trade events, and customer visits
* Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction
Preferred Experience
* Previous sales experience in aerospace, defence, electrical connectors, wiring harnesses, or related technical industries
* Strong knowledge of crimp tooling, connectors, wiring systems, or cable harness assembly
* Experience working with OEMs, defence contractors, or aerospace supply chains
* Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and present engineering solutions
* Existing industry contacts highly regarded
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in technical sales or sales management
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a national customer base
* Professional presentation and negotiation skills
* Willingness to travel as required
