Rural Products Sales Manager job is a key role in our team
Rural Products Sales Manager
Manage the sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangements. Oversee branch staffing requirements including recruitment, rostering, training, performance management.
Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities and provide value add training with suppliers. Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines.
Assist with the development and implementation of retail strategy; including implementing and driving key sales campaigns + activities.
To succeed, you will have:
* Experience leading dynamic sales teams and a background in agronomy or the rural industry.
* Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports.
* Possession of strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft suite and operating POS systems.
* Understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, the region and competitors.
