Purpose
Our Serviced Apartments Group are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our supportive team & within an environment of a growing brand. This role will focus on business development and sales results within all market segments across three properties to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to maximize business with a focus on achieving revenue and market share targets year-round
* Developing business from existing channels while creating new business development opportunities
* Building relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential business partners to drive group, corporate across all properties
* Managing agreements with key government clients, corporate clients, travel management companies
* Working with client base on all levels including new business opportunities, sales calls, presentations, virtual updates, site inspections to increase sales
* Telemarketing local business to arrange corporate rates
* Preparing and presenting sales and marketing reports, including revenue forecasts, market analysis, and performance metrics, to the senior management team
Experience / Knowledge
* Hotel Experience Essential
* Proven working experience as a business development manager or sales experience
* Experience in customer support is a plus
* An understanding of brand protection and growing value in a brand
* An inspirational, motivated and positive attitude
* Hospitality Market knowledge
