We are seeking a **Domestic Assistant** (Cleaner/ Laundry) to join our team at **Bethanie Peel** located in **Mandurah**. Bethanie Peel is a warm and welcoming 50 bed facility set amongst landscaped gardens, with a secure area to safely and securely accommodate residents with dementia or similar conditions.
As a Domestic with Bethanie, it will be your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all communal areas and client’s rooms, whilst overseeing the effective day to day running of the facility.
- **This role is currently being offered on a **casual basis* with regular day shifts and the opportunity to also accept additional weekend shifts when required.
**About The Role**:
- Cleaning of furniture, bathrooms toilets & floors
- Dispose of waste products appropriately
- Maintain living areas in a clean, safe condition
- Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Plan duties to ensure service is delivered in the time allocated
**About You**:
- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Cleaner, Laundry Assistant, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar workplace.
- Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate both orally and written
- Willingness to uphold the vision, mission and values of The Bethanie Group
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one
