Overview
Flight Centre is looking for enthusiastic Sales Travel Consultants across Australia who can dazzle, discover and delight our customers. Work full‐time on‐site in one of our retail stores on a rotating 7‐day trade roster.
Responsibilities
* Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email.
* Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets selling the whole holiday package including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
* Build a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays.
* Assist customers with travel‐related questions such as visas, best time of year to travel, packing, dining, and other travel tips.
* Earn a base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure where you receive a percentage of every sale.
Qualifications
* Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations and a go‐to person for travel recommendations.
* Great organisational skills – manage notes, calendar and respond quickly to phone calls and emails.
* Determined to meet sales targets and KPIs while balancing workload in a high‐pressure environment.
* Enthusiasm, passion and warmth that makes customers want to book with you every time.
* Proficiency with computers and the ability to toggle between complex systems when finding the right flight and package options.
