MQ Health North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia is seeking a Radiographer to join Macquarie Medical Imaging (MMI) within MQ Health. This permanent full-time role is based in North Ryde and offers ongoing professional development in a University-owned, academically integrated healthcare organisation.
Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Radiographer to join our dynamic team at Macquarie Medical Imaging (MMI). As part of our team, you will report to the Lead Radiographer and have the opportunity to work across a range of imaging modalities, including Mammography, CT, and MRI. This role offers a unique chance to enhance your skills through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. you will work alongside a capable and professional team, and most importantly be supported by Senior Radiographers to ensure your ongoing learning and development. While experience in Interventional Angiography, Cardiac Cath Lab or Theatre experience is highly desirable, it is not essential.
Key Accountabilities
Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations and produce images across a range of modalities.
Adequately inform patients and respond to questions and concerns about all aspects of imaging procedures to be undertaken or refer them to an appropriate source of further information.
Promptly advise the Radiologist or senior medical staff of any patient findings that require immediate clinical attention.
Accurately record patient data and reports into the electronic medical record system or other records management systems as required by MQ Health.
Provide formal and informal training, supervision and coaching to undergraduate and graduate radiographers, other health professionals and the public as required.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirements in your CV and a 1-page cover letter:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in Radiology and experience in the provision of Medical Imaging services.
Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and empathise with patients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, while effectively managing workloads within a timely manner.
Flexible and positive attitude with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Proactive and self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn and engage in quality control and self-development training programs
Previous experience in a
private hospital environment
Angiography, Cardiac Catheter Lab or Theatre
Previous Medical Imaging experience in a private hospital environment (desirable)

Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Current EPA license
