Our team is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Female Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a female participant with a mental health condition.
This role requires a calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent individual who can provide structured support, assist with medication prompts, and help maintain daily routines in a safe and respectful manner.

Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care, Mental Health or equivalent
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions
* Understanding of trauma-informed care and person-centred approaches
* Strong communication and rapport-building skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Responsibilities and Duties
* Assist with personal care and daily living activities
* Provide medication reminders and support in accordance with care guidelines
* Support with meal preparation and household duties
* Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision
* Facilitate safe community participation
* Offer emotional support and companionship
* Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with the care team
* Ensure participant safety and wellbeing at all times
* Build and maintain a respectful, professional relationship with the participant

Mandatory Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening check (5 years validity)
* First aid (valid for 3 years only)
* CPR (valid for 1 year only)
* COVID vaccine certificate
* Police Check (within 1 year only)
* Working with children check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
* Infection Control Certificate
* Valid Victorian Driver's License and reliable transportation (if applicable).
* Comprehensive Car insurance (mandatory)
* Visa Documents/Eligibility in working in Australia
