The Company
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in West Sydney. This is a 6 month temporary position, with the opportunity to extend to a long-term opportunity. This person is responsible for assisting with high volume invoice processing and payment runs. We are looking for someone with end-to-end accounts payable experience who is available to start immediately.
The Role
* Review and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
* Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
* Prepare and process payments
* Reconcile vendor accounts and respond to inquiries
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
To be considered for the position
* Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
