Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include maintaining commercial and car park assets, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal asset performance, efficiency, life cycle planning, and functionality. The position also involves driving best practices through collaboration and administration of comprehensive compliance programs, particularly regarding risk management for critical site operations, occupants, and processes.
Additionally, the successful candidate will manage budget expenditure for commercial and car park assets in collaboration with the Commercial Body Corporate committee. They will negotiate maintenance contracts, facilitate and manage services tenders, provide expenditure and performance data for regular monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to clients.
Actively maintaining compliance with OH&S obligations, completing audits and reviews as required by relevant legislation, is another crucial aspect of this role.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this position, you will ideally have strong interpersonal and relationship skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, clients, body corporate committees, and contractors.
Good problem-solving skills, able to resolve issues quickly and autonomously, are essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (preferred but not essential) demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Knowledge of industry best practice, sustainability, and legislative compliance is also highly valued. Good building services operational and technical knowledge, along with risk management experience, make you an ideal candidate for this role.
