This elite group of consultants will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Defence science researchers to deliver mission-critical innovation, science and technology projects.
We are currently looking for Network Engineers to be responsible for undertaking the deployment, management and maintenance of a range of networking and cyber-security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking technologies.
Skills and Experience required:
Minimum of 5 years administering, managing and/or supporting more than one of the following:
Cisco Routing and switching (NAC and 802.1x)
Designing and implementing Cisco network solutions
Configuring and supporting Cisco network equipment including routers and switches,
Physical installation of routers and switches
Configuring firewalls, routing and switching
Next generation firewall (Palo Alto) technologies and ruleset reviews
Fault diagnosis
Experience or exposure to on premise cloud technologies is desirable
Relevant Cisco Certifications
Experience in designing or architecting network solutions including micro segmentation
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a minimum Negative Vetting level 1, and there is a strong preference for NV 2 clearance.
Experience within Commonwealth Government, Defence, or a scientific research organization is highly desirable
