This role involves providing financial guidance and support to the organization. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and working closely with the Finance Manager to consolidate departmental budgets and forecasts into an integrated organisational budget.

* Liaise with the research administration office to confirm deliverables and compliance timelines.

* Prepare accurate and timely grant acquittals.

* Partner with Research Leaders and Business Unit Managers to provide financial insight and support decision-making.

* Maintain strong understanding of accounting principles and apply analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

* Collaborate with stakeholders effectively using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

* Have proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting using software such as Adaptive Planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

* Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.

* Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial management.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in financial systems and software.
