Phlebotomist | Pathology Collector
Our client is a well‐established and respected pathology service provider with a strong national footprint. Operating a central laboratory in Darlinghurst and over 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW, they are recognised for delivering high‐quality, patient‐focused services.
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Phlebotomist/Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team in a casual capacity. You will be rostered Monday to Saturday, and your professional skills will help maintain the provider's reputation for excellence in patient care.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Perform venepuncture and collect blood and other pathology samples from patients
* Conduct ECGs and fit Holter monitors as required
* Process pathology specimens in line with protocols
* Maintain accurate records and complete clerical tasks using basic IT systems
* Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical staff
* Deliver patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
* Work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
* Prioritise workloads and manage time effectively under pressure
* Adhere strictly to Work Health and Safety guidelines
About You
* Full working rights in Australia – sponsorship not available
* Current driver's licence, Working With Children Check, and National Police Clearance
* Certificate III in Pathology Collection
* Minimum of 12 months unsupervised venepuncture experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Must be available Monday to Saturday
* Passionate about pathology and delivering exceptional patient care
