Overview
The ReCranked Coordinator oversees the ReCranked bike recycling workshop developed by Y Ballarat. This role oversees volunteer management and workshop operation, stocking supplies, media, metal and rubber recycling and record keeping. The ReCranked workshop is open three afternoons weekly from the workshop at 1 Holly Grove, Wendouree.
Responsibilities
1. Administration tasks, record keeping, bike collection and deposit data, as required
2. Purchasing equipment, supplies, and managing donations
3. Customer requests and bike donations
4. Lead ReCranked promotion and partnership opportunities
5. Coordinate and support ReCranked volunteers with bike repairs and maintenance
6. Maintain workshop supplies, tools and equipment
7. Fit community members for bikes as required
8. Maintain site practices including sign in, induction and OH&S practices
9. Work with community members and young people who attend ReCranked to select a bike or return for bike repairs/maintenance
10. Manage behavioural/safety concerns as they arise, ensure transparent workshop boundaries and complete incident reporting as required
11. Engage with other tenants and stakeholders of the precinct to promote the ReCranked program and the Y
12. Recruit volunteer team members as required and ensure compliance with the Y's recruitment and onboarding processes
