With over 28 years of experience, we are committed to delivering high-quality products in a culture that values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.About the Role:We are looking for an energetic professional with a background in machining and fabrication, and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. This role offers growth into senior production management. The ideal candidate will have CNC machining and fabrication knowledge, with experience as a Production Assistant or Supervisor.The role requires a team player who collaborates well with management and staff, fostering a positive work environment. You will oversee daily operations in CNC machining and fabrication, report to the Production Manager, and provide hands-on support as needed.After a 12-month training period, you will support the Production Manager, coordinating production activities, managing inventory, and assisting with scheduling.This is a full-time position (38 hours/week) with early knock-off on Fridays.Key Responsibilities:Production scheduling and staff coordinationProcurement of raw materials, consumables, and toolingGenerate detailed drawings and 3D models using Fusion 360 or similar toolsReview data and drawings for accuracy; prepare traveller worksheetsAssist with sheet-metal fabrication, welding, and CNC machiningManage goods and materials receiving and dispatchingConduct QC inspections using calibrated tools to ensure complianceRequired Skills:Experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication environmentsProficiency with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks)Computer literacy with Office 365Ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and technical accuracyStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work collaboratively within a teamHighly Desirable:Experience in the aviation manufacturing sectorExperience with quality control and documentationWhy Join Us?Long-term career growth in a stable industrySupportive environment prioritizing safety and professional developmentReputable company committed to excellenceYou must meet Coastal Aviation’s employment criteria, including a criminal history check and drug & alcohol testing.
