Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various manufacturing equipment, implementing safety management practices, managing maintenance budgets, performing time-critical breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks, and scheduling maintenance activities to meet production targets and minimize downtime.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical trade qualification, relevant tickets, and demonstrated knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation. Experience with production and maintenance KPIs, including planned preventative maintenance programs, is highly regarded. Proficient computing skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Guardian, and D365 programs are preferred.

* Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair various manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Safety Management: Implement safety management practices to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
* Maintenance Budgeting: Manage maintenance budgets to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
* Time-Critical Breakdown Repairs: Perform time-critical breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
* Scheduling: Schedule maintenance activities to meet production targets and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of industry experience, including working with manufacturing and maintenance teams. A current valid driver's licence and forklift license (HRW) are required. A BI boiler license is preferred but not essential.


Requirements
