Overview
We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Bathurst and surrounding suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
* Supporting and connecting with our clients by assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks, including cleaning, tidying, washing, and other tasks within the client's care plan
* Transport to appointments and shopping
* Meal preparation
* Social support or respite for family or carers
* Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians in the community
* Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people
* Good communication skills
* Reliable team player
* Understanding of workplace health and safety
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
* An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)

Location: Bathurst, Lithgow and surrounding areas; travel to visit clients around Bathurst, Lithgow and surrounding areas. Permanent Part Time available with flexible hours and days. Not-for-profit employer.
