About the Role
The successful candidate will lead a team of passionate casual staff, working closely with the Assistant Store Manager to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. They will be responsible for driving store performance, managing stock levels, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets and KPIs by coaching and motivating the team to deliver outstanding results.
* Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
* Store Operations: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement.
* Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming and engaging store environment.
* Stock Management: Manage stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
* Visual Merchandising: Maintain high visual merchandising standards, creating an attractive and inviting store environment.
Requirements
* Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment.
* Sales Focus: Strong ability to drive sales growth and manage store performance.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach the team.
* Operational Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and OH&S procedures.
