Job Title: Finance Analyst – ANZ
Reports to: Head of Finance ANZ

Position Summary
Finance Analyst is a critical enabler (2IC) for the Head of Finance ANZ, ensuring operational excellence and freeing leadership capacity to focus on strategic initiatives, business partnering, and transformation projects. This role manages complex transactional and compliance activities across finance and operation, while driving process improvements and supporting incoming ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA) implementation. The successful candidate will help establish a benchmark for proactive, collaborative finance culture, enabling the Head of Finance to deliver greater strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute discount setup, amendments, extensions, and terminations, calculate and correct missing discounts to prevent revenue leakage.
- Prepare and amend consignment agreements (incl. contract renewal, security interest registration) and maintain related documentation.
- Reinforce discipline in management of discount, partnership agreement, consignment to ensure legal compliance and process control.
- Audit complex error transactions and resolve any billing/invoicing issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain merchant payment systems to resolve any customer inquiries and related administration.
- Create Bill of Materials and local material codes with accurate pricing and parameters.
- Set up promotional codes and update customer master data (condition groups, banking details for refunds, etc.).
Finance Administration & Compliance Support
- Monitor AP processes, review banking payments and cash position, monitor liquidity.
- Review and approve journal entries to maintain financial integrity and communicate with FSSC with any local market changes.
- Calculate contractor superannuation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage new vendor onboarding (incl credit check) and approvals via GEP SMART.
- Process CAMP Capex requests and support Capex project assessment during review and approval process.
- Coordinate insurance review and renewals to ensure effective execution of risk management.
- Manage all contract registrations and renewal reminders.
- Support ESG reporting and vendor onboarding to meet company sustainability goals.
Audit, Taxation & Regulatory Coordination
- Support preparation and coordination for external and internal audits.
- Coordinate stocktake audits and reconciliation with operation team.
- Prepare payroll tax submissions across multiple states.
- Support GST/BAS, income tax, FBT, Workcover, interest withholding tax, and transfer pricing documentation for AU/NZ.
Expense Control & System Administration
- Administer E-tag, fuel cards, Amex, Mastercard, and Concur systems.
- Maintain and reinforce credit card policy compliance and address any NCR.
- Generate and analyse PowerBI expense reports for cost control, especially travel and other employee Concur expenses, highlight any issues to address or improvement opportunities promptly.
Financial Planning & Analysis Support
- Provide preparatory support for budgeting and forecasting cycles (PL, BS, CFS).
- Assist with CAMP Capex planning and system updating.
- Assist with monthly P&L; variance analysis and review with cost center budget owners (major OPEX categories).
- Support project management in operational process improvement.
- Track ROI for strategic and operational initiatives.
Promoting Culture Transformation - Business Partnering
- Work closely with commercial, supply chain and customer service teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a key finance stakeholder to role model and promote a proactive, business-partnering culture within finance and across departments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8~10+ years of experience in financial operations, FP&A;, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of AU/NZ tax, auditing and compliance regulations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Concur, and PowerBI.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience in process improvement and ERP implementation (SAP S/4 HANA) highly desirable.
- Ability to influence and drive cultural change with solid communication skills.
