Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team in Nerang. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and packaging a variety of meats to high standards while maintaining strict hygiene and food safety practices. Key Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, bone, and portion meat according to specifications Prepare specialty cuts and value-added products Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely
Skills & Experience: Strong knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and hygiene standards Good communication and teamwork skills Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in meat processing (preferred) Understanding of workplace health and safety standards Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Award: Meat Industry Award 2020 - Retail Annual Salary: $79,499 Hourly Rate: $40.23

Physical Stamina, Attention to detail, Strong Work Ethic, and willing to work as part of a diverse team Be able to provide two reference checks
Willingness to work in hot and cold environments in a retail setting Immediate start possible Availability for early starts on day shift and weekend work as required
