Randstad Defence is currently partnering with one of Australia's leading defence organisations to secure exceptional talent for a major project in maritime construction.
The role requires experienced engineering professionals who specialise in acquiring a detailed understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes for use in a maritime construction facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to a holistic equipment list, including creating detailed specifications and statements of work to support the procurement of equipment.
* Select equipment, qualify suppliers, conduct design reviews, factory acceptance testing and training.
This opportunity involves working in a complex environment with multiple internal/external stakeholders, delivering equipment specifications and assurance progress reports.
About You:
* Must be an Australian citizen to hold and maintain an Australian NV1 Security Clearance.
* Significant experience delivering technical projects in industrial manufacturing industries.
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering or project management.
* Experience in the Defence ship building industry is advantageous.
