Sales Manager | Industrial Measurements (ANZ)

About The Role

We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Sales Manager to join a global leader in environmental and industrial measurement. In this pivotal role, you will build and manage business growth across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on our Power, Biogas, and Carbon Capture (CCUS) portfolios.

Reporting to the Head of Sales (ANZ), you will drive profitable growth through a combination of direct sales and strategic channel management. You will act as a "sales hunter," providing consultative engineering solutions to key clients, existing channels, and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

Target Achievement: Deliver defined sales targets through both direct engagement and channel partner optimization.
Consultative Selling: Advise end-users and consultants on technical solutions, specializing in areas such as Dissolved Gas Analysis and Moisture in Oil.
Channel Management: Develop and monitor distributor performance, organize technical training, and conduct joint customer visits.
Strategic Planning: Create country-specific sales plans and marketing actions in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable market growth.
Portfolio Oversight: Manage solutions for diverse sectors including Life Sciences, Mining, Food & Beverage, and Process Industries.
Market Feedback: Act as the link between the local market and head office, communicating requirements back to product and marketing teams.

Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to work effectively across different cultures.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. (or equivalent) in a technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in direct sales, channel management, and project sales within the instrumentation or process industries.
Skill Set: Proven negotiation and influencing skills with high-level English fluency.
Drive: An energetic team player who is comfortable with frequent travel (up to 60%) across the region.
