An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager seeking a change of scenery and a leadership role to join a dedicated team in a private hospital in Birtinya on a permanent full-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated nursing professionals, ensuring the highest standard of patient care, and driving continuous improvement in clinical practice.
Your responsibilities will inclkude:
* Demonstrating exceptional leadership and decision-making skills;
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes;
* Fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment;
* Supporting budgeting and resource allocation for human and material resources;
* Driving innovation and positive change within the department;
* Providing high-level clinical expertise in PACU and ward nursing;
* Championing workplace safety and quality improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
* Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration;
* Postgraduate qualification in nursing and/or management (highly desirable);
* Minimum 5 years of senior nursing/management experience;
* Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation, and risk management;
* Experience in budgeting, staffing, and operational oversight;
* Understanding of ISO 9001 Accreditation & ANMC Competency Standard;
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
