Within the College, the Academic Unit focuses on advancing general practice and primary health care through innovative teaching and impactful research.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute across three key areas: research, education, and service. You will play an integral role in delivering teaching, assessments, and developing an independent research agenda that measures the value of primary health care within the Australian system.
As a Lecturer in General Practice, you will shape the next generation of medical practitioners and contribute to advancing primary health care. The position requires expertise in teaching general practice, clinical skills, population health, rural and Indigenous health, and evidence-based medicine.
Key responsibilities:
* Teach students in general practice, clinical skills, population health, rural and Indigenous health, and evidence-based medicine
* Contribute to student assessments, including clinical skills and general practice examinations
* Develop and pursue an independent research agenda
