The Opportunity
Join our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineerat RAAF Base Amberley.
We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the ACEA program at RAAF Base Amberley, to help keep these aircraft mission ready. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‐on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‐finding on aircraft systems. You will:
* Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion,
* Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
* Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
* Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
* Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well‐being of all personnel.
What you will bring to BDA
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
* Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
* Hold a current driver's licence.
Desirable
* Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
* Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
This role may require travel and periods working away from home. It's a great chance to immerse yourself in a different environment with our customer while carrying out the duties of the role.

Security Clearance
You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance ( Baseline) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
