We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Diesel Fitter to expand the workshop team in a Leading Hand position for ASG Equipment.

The Role
As a workshop based Leading Hand, you will be responsible for major work on a range of mining mobile plant. Specifically you will deal with overhauls, rebuilds and major repair work on the machines brought into the workshop. A high level of knowledge and competence is required as you will be closely supporting the Workshop Supervisor and acting as 2IC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and servicing of mobile plant equipment including overhauls and rebuilds.
* Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to optimise equipment performance.
* Work collaboratively within a team of 6-8 people, including diesel fitters, boilermakers and electricians.
* Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* To reside in Dubbo or be committed to relocating there.
* A heavy vehicle maintenance or diesel fitting formal qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years proven experience in plant and equipment maintenance within the mobile plant hire, mining, agriculture or civil construction industries.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements.
* Strong technical knowledge of a range of equipment and machinery from CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
