Strategic Contract Professional
This role plays a pivotal part in the Defence Innovation Partnership, undertaking intricate contract management and administration tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
* Undertakes complex to very complex contract management activities and implements procurement processes that align with legislative and policy frameworks.
* Works within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices, and procedures in line with Defence's mission and business objectives.
* Plans, leads, and manages a range of resources to achieve business goals.
* Initiates outcomes, progresses work, reviews team and business performance, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Leads a high-performing and cohesive team, exercising people management skills and knowledge.
This position is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as the Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP), providing a premium in addition to the base salary.
As a key member of the Defence Innovation Partnership, you will contribute to delivering the Hunter Class Frigate acquisition strategy, leveraging your diverse complex management skill sets and experience.

* Proven contract management and procurement experience.
