3 Year Temporary full-time opportunity (35 hours per week)
Clerk Grade 7/8 – $113,574 to $125,720 plus superannuation and leave loading

Homes NSW brings together housing and homelessness services under one roof to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and provide quality public housing to over 262,000 tenants. We put people at the heart of everything we do—our clients and our staff.
About the Role
As a Community Engagement Advisor, you will play an integral role in the Public Affairs and Engagement team to help facilitate engagement activities. You will be required to develop communication and engagement plans, manage sensitive stakeholders and ultimately support project teams to deliver new social and affordable housing. The role works closely with a broad range of multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders, including integrated project teams, to achieve positive outcomes that put people at the heart of planning for new projects and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and support to the Senior Community Engagement Officer
Prepare a range of engaging and high-quality project communications materials
Proactively identify stakeholder related issues and risks, and work with relevant teams to develop and implement mitigations
Undertake research to understand community sentiment and local area analysis
Monitor and map the stakeholder environment
Build and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
Preferred Experience
We are seeking candidates that have knowledge and experience in supporting project delivery—particularly in the context of public participation and community engagement. Demonstrated understanding of NSW planning pathway frameworks and IAP2/ Engagement Institute certification will be highly regarded.
