As a result of our successes, we are seeking highly skilled Trades to come and join our TEAM at the Emerald Branch. You will be joining our field service crew who are results-driven, family-orientated, and most importantly value you and what you bring to the team
We are seeking eager, committed workers who hold prior belt splicing or mechanical experience with conveyor systems, as well as:
* Trade Qualification in Polymer Processing or Mechanical Engineering (Boilermaker or Fitter)
* Experience underground mining or willing to go underground at our primary Sites.
* QLD Coal Board Medical or ability to successfully obtain (Company recovered)
* Proven knowledge and experience working in mining.
* Experience and knowledge in conveyor belt systems and components
* Strong commitment to safety and quality
* Valid driver's license and High-Risk licenses – Basic Rigging, Dogman, and Forklift, HR license - desirable
A Day-to-day
With multiple projects across the region for you to be a part of, you'll be responsible for:
* Competently perform all tasks on conveyor systems and components, maintenance, repair, and installation
* Conduct conveyor audits to diagnose conditions and faults on equipment and make recommendations on preventative maintenance or how to improve production.
* Assist or complete job scoping, planning and quoting.
* Participate in and sign off on JSA's, safety observations or toolbox discussions.
* Operate across multiple Sites and locations within the Emerald region.
* Be an integral part of our Supply Chain, supporting the delivery of our tailored Conveyor solutions of unmatched quality to our customers.
