THE POSITION
* Prepare fresh, delicious meals
* Work as part of a small, supportive team preparing short-order meals
* The role will have a focus on menu development and cost control responsibilities
* Monitor stock and minimize wastage
* Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
* Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
THE PERSON
* Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
* Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
* 2-3 years' experience as a chef & Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
* Confident working with dietary requirements and allergen management protocols
* Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency across multiple meal services
