LA Build are seeking experienced Site Supervisors for remote and urban building sites across the Northern Territory.
These roles involve overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Management: Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a positive work environment and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues or defects promptly.
Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to work health and safety protocols and legislation, ensuring continuous compliance throughout the entire project, from inception to completion.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, manage standard construction site documentation, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the NT construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in MS Office & Excel preferred.
Requirements:
* Availability to work in remote and urban locations across the Northern Territory.
* Valid NT driver's license and WHS Construction White Card.
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management or a related field.
