Procurement Professional
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our procurement team as a Procurement Professional. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive high-impact procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on best practice procurement planning, contract development, and compliance.
* Develop and manage complex material contracts in alignment with legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure robust contract performance indicators, process improvement, and value-for-money outcomes.
* Facilitate tender evaluations and prepare tender evaluation reports.
* Educate and train internal stakeholders on best practice procurement and contract management.
* Prepare and deliver research and reports on procurement and contract management matters.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in procurement, contract development, and management (ideally within government or highly regulated industries).
* A strong understanding of procurement legislation, probity principles, and tendering processes.
* Proven negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A detail-oriented approach that balances risk, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.
* Strong report writing, research, and analytical skills.
* Relevant qualifications in procurement, business, or contract management (desirable).
