Your role
An undergraduate Accounting student seeking a career boost is invited to apply for a 13-month full-time or part-time internship at their Scoresby office. This exceptional opportunity allows for gaining practical skills and knowledge while working full-time, starting January 27, 2025. The intern will support the broader Accounting Services team by providing financial accounting, compliance, and control assistance on various projects. This role aims to foster experience and development in the intern's chosen field of study while also providing exposure to the key operations and processes of a global organization.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will make an impact and gain experience in the following ways:
* Provide assistance with accounting month-end activities
* Participate in financial reporting
* Prepare monthly journals
* Perform bank reconciliations and cashflows on a weekly basis
* Participates in continuous improvement projects
* Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and assist with close activities
* Supports the Business Services Finance team in ad hoc activities and projects
About you
Qualifications:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
* Are currently studying a Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting or similar
* Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete your undergraduate degree as of January 2025
* Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration

* Excellent attention to detail

* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
