Store Operations Leader - Assistant Store Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the store team, managing store operations, and driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.



About the Job

This challenging and rewarding role requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire their team to achieve excellent customer service and sales performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and maintain a safe working environment.



Key Responsibilities

* Lead the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Manage store operations, including inventory management and stock control.
* Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
* Live and breathe genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers.
* Be a safety leader, providing a safe work environment for yourself, team members, and customers.
* Set a positive example at all times.
* Often have opening and closing responsibilities.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Previous supervisory experience or a willingness to take on new challenges.
* Demonstrated previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience.
* Ideal: mechanical/automotive parts knowledge.
* Flexible availability and a valid driver's licence.
* The physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature).
* Prioritise safety.
